Yes, if you have it installed in your SUV and you want to purchase a VAN, you can remove the VAS and place it in your new vehicle. (Unless you have personally installed the VAS you should use an audio installation specialist.)
No, there is an On/Off switch that is attached to the ignition system and when you turn off your vehicle the VAS is deactivated

In Atlanta, we have had our systems installed at Best Buys. They have a very good installation department that works specifically on interior audio systems for vans, SUVs, limos and other vehicle.
Also in most cities there are stero installation specialist who can install WhadUSay?. For instance in Atlanta there is; AutoTunes, Sound Sensation and Digital Sound.
This will vary based on the kind of vehicle you have but, it should be installed in less than two hours. From our experience, the average charge is about $60 per hour.
